This Book considerers if the AI Hype has become another commodification grab by Capitalism. The fact is, we don’t have strong AI or AGI and I strongly believe that we will not have it anytime soon (at least by the next 3 decades) but that doesn’t mean that there is no significant progress in the AI space. Progress in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Generation, Deep learning and Neural networks is still fascinating, but it is still very narrow to solve specific problems, and this is called “narrow AI”. So although there is lot of hype in AI, if we exclude the holistic AGI and talk about “narrow AI” systems then significant success has been achieved to just ignore it as a hype.
